Usage limits management
🧾 Introduction
This feature allows you to automatically limit application usage by defining a maximum number of generations per day and a monthly cost cap. These thresholds are configurable by the user.
🎯 Objective
Enable each user or administrator to control their consumption and prevent unplanned overages by automatically blocking usage once the defined limits are reached.

- Strict budget control: Automatically blocks generations beyond the monthly cost cap.
- Peace of mind: Prevents unexpected charges by halting generations when the limit is hit.
- User autonomy: Each user can freely adjust their own limits based on needs and budget.
- Immediate blocking: The system stops all generations as soon as the threshold is reached (no prior warning).
📌 Example use case
A project manager sets:
- 📆 a cap of 200 generations per day
- 💳 a cap of €500 per month
System behavior:
- On the 201st generation attempt of the day, a blocking message appears: "Your daily quota has been reached. Generations will be available again tomorrow."
- If the monthly cost cap of €500 is reached, all generations are blocked until the next month, with the message: "Your monthly cap has been reached. You can resume generations on the 1st of next month or update your settings."
📌 The caps can be adjusted at any time by the user in the usage settings.
⚙️ Configuration
To adjust the usage limits, go to the Dashboard (Home) and click on “Update limit”.
From there, you can:
- 🗓️ Set the maximum number of generations per day
- 💸 Define the monthly cost cap
This configuration applies to all users of BeeApp.
🔄 At the beginning of each month, the monthly usage tracking is automatically reset to zero.
Changes to limits take effect immediately and help ensure that usage stays within the defined thresholds.
